Sometimes the best way to display Christmas items is to keep it simple, clean and elegant. Many people get stuck over thinking of the time and effort to drag out the decorations, sift though them all and then decide where exactly to put everything again. So maybe a no fuss approach to Christmas decorating could be the easy solution you’ve been hoping for. After all who said you have to fill the entire house with tinsel and baubles?
This year I’m decorating our entry hall, which isn’t a large space, extremely simple with a pretty white detailed frame and a wreath displayed inside it. That’s it, low on the decorating items but high on the impact as you walk in the door. And I love the result which makes me smile each time I walk by.
Now I could add a few extra baubles around the wreath, perhaps add a coloured ribbon or even add wire string lights to brighten the way… but I’m enjoying the simplicity of it for now and can always add to it next week if the desire takes me… either way, I will still keep it simple!
