Creating a positive and happy home is vital these days to help keep you and your family feeling balanced, in sync and confident each day.
While there are many options to help you, they all will connect you to your inner senses, and, as everything in the universe is made of energy, you will naturally gravitate to the energy method that resonates with you the most, making selecting the best mode for you easy!
The challenge of course, is in maintaining a routine of positive energy as life often brings more tasks than there is time for, therefore this is exactly when you need to gift yourself just 5 minutes to reconnect and reset your internal positive happy sensor.
Once you reset it, you will reap both the positive benefits and have a happy home.
Gratitude
Gratitude is one of the highest vibrational energy modalities and it is also one of the easiest and quickest energies to connect to. Using gratitude can help to create positive vibes at home and anywhere you go. Feeling grateful is as simple as stating something you feel appreciation for or you are thankful for.

Here are some ideas of feeling grateful to help you connect to your inner gratitude and create your positive happy home and life
– I am grateful for the home my family and I live in
– I am grateful my home gives me a personal space I can relax in and be me
– I love spending time with my family at home, I am very grateful

Here are some examples of expressing gratitude
- Each morning as you wake
Think of 3 things you are grateful for. These could be tasks you have scheduled for the day, having a goodnights sleep, feeling energised, etc
- Each evening before you fall asleep
Think of 3 things, tasks or events that made your day easier or special such working with someone, completing tasks or simply having a wonderful day because you want to etc
- At mealtimes
Ask your family to share what they are most grateful for that day (why wait for Thanksgiving when you can be grateful everyday)
- Before you go shopping

- Before family gatherings
Being able to spend time with your family in your home

Expressing Gratitude For People
Other ways to spread positive, happy home energy is to express gratitude for each person within your home. For example
– I am grateful for my happy family
– I am grateful to have (no of) family members (and who they are)
– I am grateful for a fun time my family share at home on weekends
– I am grateful for the love my family gives to each other each day
– I am grateful we are able to face the world as a united family and help each other
– I am grateful my children are happy in their bedrooms and in our home
Here are 5 easy steps to help you find your gratitude groove
1) Select one way you can express gratitude each day – in the morning, in the evening, at mealtimes, as you brush your teeth, etc.
2) Commit to this routine every day for just one week in October.
3) Measure your positive sensor before you begin – give yourself a score out of 1 to 10 for how positive and happy your home feels. 1 is not really positive and 10 is extremely positive.
4) Measure your results with your positive sensor on the final day – again give yourself a score out of 1 to 10 for how positive and happy your home feels. 1 is not really positive and 10 is extremely positive.
5) You should already feel positive results but now you can compare your before and after score. Even if it increases by 1 point that is a good positive shift and congratulations to you.
Depending on what is going on in your life you may want to or feel you need to continue this routine a bit longer, which is well worth it.
Try continuing your gratitude routine for 21 days as this is the proven time frame that it takes to establish a new routine or pattern. And at the very least, you will have been positive conversations with yourself and that is important.
Getting Started
As you can see you can be grateful for anything and everything and apply it to new things you may not have considered before.
For those who have not worked with gratitude before, simply think or say to yourself what you are grateful for. This is a good starting point and while it may seem a little thought driven at first, your feelings and vibrational energy are aligned with your thoughts and words, so you are connecting to positivity which is the basis of being grateful.
